The SKV Group is one of the world’s leading quality suppliers of spare parts for the marine industry. However, our ambitions run higher. Our aim is to solve your problems, technically and practically, and keep your engines running 24/7, wherever your vessel may be. One hundred and fifty years in business have reinforced our agreements with the makers as well as our knowledge, competence and experience to fulfill that goal.

Mission

The origins of SKV Group can be traced back to engine manufacturers in the second half of the 19th century. Since then, we have built more than 3.000 engines. The vast experience we have gained from this has made us unique in our industry, with the ability to supply high-quality spare parts from stock for a wide range of engines. We are constantly developing and improving our performance in order to optimize Customer satisfaction.

We don’t just sell spare parts, we help to solve Customer problems.

The SKV GROUP is a merge of 3 companies:, John G. Kincaid & Co. Ltd, in Scotland, , Contrucciones Echevarria SA, in Spain, and Skandiaverken AB in Sweeden. Presently, our Group comprises Skandiaverken SL (Spain) and Skandiaverken Ltd (Scotland)

The history of the SKV Group goes back to engine manufacturers in the second half of the 19th century. Since then, we have built 3124 diesel engines, of both 2 and 4 strokes , manufactured under official license from the major engines manufacturers. The vast experience we have gained from this has made us unique in our industry, with the ability to supply high quality spare parts to a wide range of engines. Holding a vast stock, over 7 million Euros (both for 2st and 4st parts), in our central warehouse located close to Bilbao International Airport and Port ensures that we can meet customer urgent requirements without delay. At the same time, our fully integrated stock control system ensures that we have complete control over quality, cost and availability.
